This is an American version of a popular Irish Pup Game!
The Football Ring board comes in a shield shape board with 13 hooks on it, each one clearly marked with a number to indicate the scoring play.
Accompanying the board are a set of flexible rubber rings, measuring 3" in diameter. A set of rings is 6 in total.

Game Play
Players throw from behind a line marked 8 feet from the board. The board should be mounted 5'10" from the ground to the center hook.
The game is played with Player One throwing a complete set of 4 rings. The board is then cleared and Player Two throws a complete set of 4 rings to finish 1 quarter of play. The game is made up of 4 quarters (or 4 turns throwing a set of 4 rings). At the end of 4 quarters, the team with the highest point total wins. In the event of a tie after 4 quarters, the game will continue with an additional overtime period. The overtime will play the same as a standard quarter. This will be repeated until a winner is decided.
